The interactive parametric urban design for the Masdar was developed based on the masterplan guidelines given by Foster & Partners. The main goal of the work was to achieve an effective sustainable solution for the extrem hot and arid local weather conditions in Abu Dhabi. To passive design strategies were given the top priority. PV panels are basically the only modern sustainable technology proposed for this concept.
